About

GRIF

Hi! My name is Grif. I grew up in Maryland and moved to San Diego, CA in 2019. It was in San Diego where I completed my tattoo apprenticeship. I drew all growing up. It was an escape for me. My medium of choice was graphite with imagery leaning towards realism. The moment I turned eighteen I was in a tattoo studio getting my first tattoo. Ever since then, I have immersed my self in the world of tattoos. I fell in love with every part of the process, from tinkering with machines to bringing the clients idea to a reality. Since starting my apprenticeship I have moved towards creating realistic imagery with a ballpoint pen. This leaves the piece with a vibrant blue color.

Vision

I aim to create a design based off the clients idea that is unique and special. Collaborating with the client and gathering information is a big part of the process. I strive to work with clients to bring there thought to a work of art.
